World Series champs, the Los Angeles Dodgers are scheduled to visit the White House to celebrate their victory with an administration that has been terrorizing immigrant communities across Los Angeles and the country. Being a team with several immigrants and that represents a city of immigrants, we’re asking them not to go!

Several Dodger Stadium workers went outside the Dodger’s Spring Training facility in Camelback Ranch to call on the team to NOT GO TO THE WHITE HOUSE!
Workers from UNITE HERE Local 11 and IATSE Local B-192 are currently in contract negotiations with NBCUniversal. As part of those negotiations, UNITE HERE Local 11 and IATSE Local 192 have proposed contract language that would ensure that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is not voluntarily allowed onto the Universal hill and backlot, and that NBCUniversal publicly condemns the use of violence, militarized tactics, or intimidation by ICE or other federal agencies against individuals, workers, or families.
NBCUniversal has not agreed to these proposed protections.

The cafeteria workers at Boeing in Seal Beach ratified a new contract with Aramark that will give them an immediate $7 raise that will increase to $10.50 for the lernght of the contract. Workers will also be part of the Local 11 health fund. Congratulations!!!
Aramark at Arizona State University workers are an essential part of our university community. They are the baristas, food servers, dishwashers, catering servers, and cooks who serve our faculty, staff, and students across four campuses.
Workers bravely walked out on strike in their fight for a fair contract with fair wages, affordable healthcare, and a pathway to retire with dignity.
See the pictures of the strike here.
As Los Angeles prepares to host the 2028 Olympic Games, workers at Crypto.com Arena took action to demand safe, welcoming Olympic venues free from the sorts of heavy-handed and abusive immigration enforcement that we have seen in Los Angeles and elsewhere in recent months. Workers delivered hundreds of petition signatures from their coworkers urging Crypto.com Arena to call on LA28 and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to commit to keeping Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other immigration enforcement agencies out of Olympic venues and events.
“This arena runs because of immigrant workers.” said Marisela Gomez, a Stand Lead at Crypto.com Arena, where she’s worked for 15 years. “The Olympics will only succeed because of immigrant workers. If LA wants to welcome the world, it has to protect the people who make that welcome possible.”

Dining hall and food service workers employed by Aramark at Arizona State University voted 99% to authorize a strike!
We’d like to take a moment to appreciate the workers who create the Dodger Stadium experience! Workers at Dodgers Stadium are the ultimate fans: when games go extra innings, so do workers.
In 2022, Dodgers Stadium workers signed a fantastic union contract with life-changing wages and benefits. And they’re about to enter negotiations for their next contract!
